I've eaten dim sum many times in other cities around the world and around Jacksonville, but I have to say their dim sum was one of the freshest, absolutely delicious and creative. The bun dough had the perfect consistency...soft, but not chewy. Nice and hot too. We also had some items from the kitchen - Salt & Pepper Kaarange Chicken and Beef Carne Asada Stir Fried Noodles. Wow!! Delicious mix of Japanese, Chinese and Mexican flavors. I highly recommend both of these and anything else on the menu. Definitely come back here again and again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing dim sum spot in Jacksonville! Lucky Cat is easily one of the best spots in town for authentic, fresh dim sum. Everything we tried was top-notch: the shrimp dumplings had the perfect delicate wrapper, the crispy fried shrimp balls had an amazing crunchy texture, and the steamed sweet buns were so cute and fluffy. Their fried wings are also super crispy and seasoned beautifully. Excellent service and great food. We'll be back for sure!

An okay experience—great shumai, but some dishes fell flat. If you are looking for a completely traditional dim sum spot, this might miss the mark slightly. They don't have chicken feet on the menu, and the server said they don't have classic staples like hot mustard or sweet & sour sauce. Giving 4 stars to support the business, but it's really a 3-star experience. It’s a decent neighborhood spot for a casual bite, so give it a try and decide for yourself! P.S. We go to Hong Kong and Taiwan every year and just got back so we have experience with legit dim sum.

Love it here and I am legit counting down the days until I can return. I sat there enjoying the pork and chive dumplings and thought to myself "do I really care to be fit for summer?" I am a dumpling duchess. I'll destroy a plate of them in record time. But I took my time enjoying these beauties and they were heavenly, down to the last bite. I unfortunately didn't get a picture of them, as I was caught up in my gluttony. We also got a few different buns, shrimp and chive dumplings, salt and pepper chicken and short ribs. All DELICIOUS. Truly. Each item we had was phenomenal but those pork and chive dumplings stole the show for me! Now I will say, I am disappointed because we were told that the pineapple buns were sold out but that we could still get some creme brulee custard tarts. Ok, no problem. A few mintues go by and then we are told they're sold out too, as well as the plain ones. Then, to add more salt to the wound, we're told that the salt and pepper shrimp we ordered was sold out too and would take 45 minutes before a new batch was available. I almost cried at that point because after having that amazing chicken, I just KNOW those shrimp are lethal. Also, I don't know a

handmade dumplings everyday! love the flavors here. favorites: pork chive dumplings, shrimp chive dumplings, pork shumai, shrimp stuffed tofu, salt and pepper chicken (boneless) and the wings. pineapple buns here are elite. the steamed buns here are amazing, the best fluff and chew i've ever had!! honestly the chef is quite impressive with this mix of classics and modernized dim sum dishes. only downside is that they're often short staffed and high volume so service can be average or below depending on how busy they are. honestly i don't mine that much bc the food is worth it. love the black milk tea here too!!
